The better life you could choose at

Saraburi Land of Life

Saraburi, since the period of the Thawarawadee Kingdom, has been a  Centre of culture and worship in Thailand. It offers a marvelous window on the past for travellers and buddhists from around the world, who are drawn to the region for its magnificent temples and historic traditions.

You don't have to travel far in the Saraburi region to touch an ancient and living history. The engravings in the cave wall at Wat Phra Photisat are considered to be 1600 years old.

We can see the more recent history in Buddha's “Left Footprint” at Wat Phra Phutthabat Racha Wora Maha Wiharn and the Buddhas' “Right footprint” at Wat Phra Phuttachai.

The Gold Buddha that survived invasion from neighbouring enemies by being covered in plaster for more than two centuries, can be seen at Wat Phayao in Saraburi. Also visit the ancient "Buddha in the Cave Temple" in the mountains at Wat Tham Phrathat Charoen Tham.

Lanna Pagodas at Wat Khao Kaew Worawiharn contain ancestral ashes, also visit Sao Ronghai; the mysterious “Crying Pillar” and the Big Black Buddha at Wad Soong.

2.There is a legend that you can see lord Buddha's reflection on the stone wall at Wat Phra Phutthachai, Amphoe Muang. This is where you can worship the respected "Buddha’s Right Footprint".

6. The Golden Buddha of Wat Phayao, Amphoe Sao Hai, is one of the most important Buddha Statues in Thailand. Like few of its kind remaining, it is made of solid gold and is typical of the luxury of royal patronage of the Sukothai and Ayutthaya periods.

7. The Buddha’s Relics in a Lanna-Style Stupa at Wat Khao Kaew, Amphoe Sao Hai.

8. The inspiring Mural Paintings at Wat Samuhapadisatharam, Amphoe Sao Hai.

9. At Wat Soong, Amphoe Sao Hai, you can meditate on Sao Ronghai; "the Crying Pillar’s story", from which the district was named.
