
Wat Khao Kaeo Wora Wihan (or Wat Khiri Rattanaram) was built in 1628 in the reign of His Majesty King Songtham during the Ayutthaya period.
Later during the reign of King Rama IV (Rattanakosin period) the holy relics that were kept in the temple were moved to the priceless 5 crowned Lanna-style stupa.
Getting There :
From Saraburi city via Pichaironnarong Songkram Rd.(road no.3041) after 2km turn right at the junction and continue, you will come to the bridge over the Pasak river, after about 1 km turn left at Ban Pakbang junction. Continue for 1 km to Wat Khao Kaew which located on the right hand side near the Thai Yuan Local Culture Centre of Saraburi.
